Build a sports playground for kids
There are many public spaces in Ureki available for our community members to use. And there is one special spot where lots of children always gather and where whole families love to spend time. It is precisely in this spot that we want to create a dry and functional mini-sports area.
Due to the nature of the coastal soil, it is often damp here, and children and adults lack proper surfaces and equipment for active play. We plan to fully develop this area: build a reliable drainage foundation, protect it from mud, and install a durable sports and play complex with multi-level horizontal bars and jumping elements.
The goal: $1,250 — to fully cover the cost of materials, equipment manufacturing, and turnkey construction work.
The budget is calculated down to the last lari and divided into two clear categories—materials and professional installation:
$245 — Sports equipment and aesthetics. Purchase of durable metal pipes of various diameters to create multi-level crossbars, special rings (“jumping rings”), and bright safety paint in 6 colors to make the area attractive to children
$265 — Drainage and moisture protection. Purchase of geotextile, cement, screened sand, and a full truckload of crushed stone to ensure the site remains dry, clean, and free of grass growth
$740 — Professional services. Welding, secure concrete anchoring of posts in the ground, and preparation, leveling, and backfilling of the site foundation by specialists
