Plant beautiful southern trees
The ip-Lab inclusive research campus in Ureki is a place where in-depth research, therapeutic sessions, and the life of our community intersect on a daily basis. For this environment to function effectively, the grounds surrounding the buildings must be impeccably landscaped and adapted for both activities and daily maintenance.
Given the coastal climate and frequent rains, we face the need for large-scale landscaping: we must protect the site from mud, properly cover the drainage channel, and create a weather-protected work area for maintenance needs. We want to transform the campus courtyard into a clean, cozy, and functional ecosystem.
The goal: $1,744 — to fully cover the cost of materials for landscaping the entire area. We will carry out all the landscaping, backfilling, and installation work ourselves, so every dollar will go directly toward transforming the space.

The entire landscaping process is divided into three clear technical tasks, each of which can be supported:
$250 — construction of a canopy. Purchase of materials to build a sturdy canopy. This is necessary to create a dry and sheltered work area, as well as to properly store the campus’s gardening tools, which are currently suffering from direct, heavy rain.
$330 — drainage ditch renovation. Purchase of heavy-duty geotextile (to prevent weeds and soil erosion), sturdy planks for a secure cover, and special paint to protect the drainage line along the fence
$1,164 — clean yard (gravel fill). The most extensive part of the work to completely eliminate mud after storms. This includes the purchase and delivery of 3 huge truckloads of gravel (20 cubic meters each) at a cost of $388 per truckload to level and cover the entire property
Special condition: contingency fund for landscaping — $150
Earthwork and construction on the coast can always throw up surprises—from the need for additional fasteners to renting hand tools for tamping. A small reserve will allow us to keep work moving without delays due to minor shortages. All funds raised above the base budget will go into this contingency fund.
Your contribution is the foundation upon which order, cleanliness, and safety throughout the ip-Lab campus are built. Help us keep the campus grounds well-maintained. Support the project today!
