Help Trip: A Carefree Year for Ureki’s Three-Legged Legend
He only has three legs, but his loyalty and love for life could fill all four.
For about five years now, this amazing dog has been living in Ureki. We don’t know his past or what hardships he had to endure to survive on the streets with only three legs. But we certainly know his present: today, he is a symbol of resilience, a favorite among locals, and the most loyal guardian of our peace.
All these years, volunteers and kind-hearted people have supported him through shared efforts: some bring food, some provide flea treatments, and others simply offer hugs and warmth. However, a special dog requires special, consistent care. Because he is missing a leg, the strain on his remaining joints and spine is doubled. This makes it critical for Trip to receive high-quality nutrition, joint supplements, and timely veterinary check-ups.
We are launching an official annual fundraising campaign to ensure Trip always has a full bowl of good food, so that volunteers don’t have to scramble for emergency funds for his care and protection.
Annual Goal: $1330

Transparent Annual Budget:
Nutrition & Health Support (For 12 Months):
$1080 — High-quality dry food for medium/large dogs ($90 per month / 12 months)
$60 — Special joint supplements (chondroprotectors) and vitamins to protect his remaining legs
$25 — Healthy treats
Nutrition & Health Subtotal: $1165
Veterinary Care, Hygiene & Seasonal Protection:
$70 — Seasonal tick, flea, and heartworm prevention (critical in the humid coastal climate)
$20 — Annual comprehensive vaccination (including rabies)
$35 — Routine vet check-up and joint health monitoring
$40 — Emergency medical reserve fund
Healthcare Subtotal: $165
Every day, Trip proves to us that no limitations can stop you from enjoying life and loving the world. Just $111 a month will secure a well-fed, healthy, and safe year for this resilient dog. Please support Trip!
