Install pull-up bars on the beach

Ureki is a unique resort famous for its magnetic sands, attracting thousands of families and children every year. However, today there isn’t a single spot along the entire several-kilometer-long waterfront where children, teenagers, or adults can exercise outdoors for free. We decided to change that.

The “Inclusive Practices” project initiated the creation of publicly accessible sports infrastructure. We are currently coordinating with the city government to install three full-scale workout complexes (each including horizontal bars and parallel bars) at different points along the beach. This space will become a free hub for anyone who wants to build their body, improve their health, and spend time being active.

We’re moving toward our goal step by step. Our mission is to raise funds for the production and secure installation of durable metal structures that can withstand the harsh coastal climate.

The Goal: $2,280 — for the production and installation of all 3 workout complexes on the coast.

The cost of one complete set (pull-up bars + parallel bars), including welding, logistics, and concrete work, is $760.

Each workout station is constructed from heavy-duty structural tubing and installed by professionals. Donor contributions are allocated to specific stages:

Materials and protection (square and round tubing for posts, crossbars, and beams; specialized epoxy primer and Hammerite enamel to protect the metal from rust in the salty sea air) — $250 per set

Manufacturing and assembly (welding and metalwork: cutting, frame welding, seam cleaning, and professional painting) — $295 per unit

Logistics and beach installation (delivery of heavy structures to the site, digging holes in the sand, leveling, tamping, and secure concrete foundation) — $215 per set

Special Condition: Maintenance and Vandalism Protection Fund — $200

The beach area is open-air year-round. To ensure the facilities last a long time, don’t rust from winter storms, and are repaired promptly in case of damage, we’ve set aside a small general contingency fund. Any donations collected beyond the base budget will go toward this sports area maintenance fund.

Your contribution will help make sports accessible to Ureki and turn the coast into a place where children can grow up healthy and active. Help us install the first playground equipment. Support the fundraiser now!
