Help Rodion: Continue the Path to Freedom
From a very early age, Rodion has courageously overcome the rigid boundaries of autism. Over his 15 years, he has achieved tremendous results that seem like a miracle: he started talking, completely overcame the atonic state of his body, and learned to confidently interact with the world.
But the challenges for his family didn’t stop there. Since last year, Rodion began experiencing severe epileptic seizures. Despite this, he remains optimistic, smiles, and is ready to work hard on himself. However, for doctors to control the seizures and understand the hidden processes in his body, Rodion vitally needs overnight EEG monitoring.
To achieve this, twice a year, his mother and Rodion need to travel from Ureki to Tbilisi to a specialized clinic for demanding 12-hour overnight procedures.
We are launching this campaign for 1 year to fully cover the cost of these examinations for Rodion and help him continue his victories over the illness.
The Goal: $940
Transparent Budget for 1 Year:
$720 – two sessions of 12-hour overnight EEG monitoring in a Tbilisi clinic ($360 per session)
$136 — Fuel for two trips from Ureki to Tbilisi and back ($68 per trip)
$76 — Meals for mother and Rodion during two trips (dinner, breakfast — $38 per trip)
$8 — Contingency and currency conversion reserve
